I use print and online travel guides and apps in a different way. For inspiration, insight and booking purposes, I scour online travel sources such as quality blogs, niche destination sites and TripAdvisor, but prefer to have mission-critical information, such as maps, opening times and directions, in print. Sometimes, I would buy a travel guide for this reason, or I would just print out pages from online sources.

Pauline’s and Arthur’s venture in this new era of travel publishing is highly exciting. As Pauline says, it’s the content that matters – the challenge is to optimise consumption using the right mix of electronic tools and print. I am confident Frommer’s will achieve this.
